Text overlays do not remove the original text and must not be used to hide confidential information. The Mac app adds embedded-font recognition, local OCR, signatures, images and forms.

The Mac app’s source code is published under the GNU AGPL v3. The Tomorrow Now name and logos remain brand identifiers. The licence does not allow modified versions to present themselves as official Tomorrow Now releases.
